6 октября 2014 года объявлен конкурс на подачу проектных предложений для участия в программе Erasmus+. На основном веб-сайте программы Erasmus+ http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/discover/guide/index_en.htm размещена вся необходимая информация об условиях участия в различных конкурсах по ключевым направлениям (Key Actions) и программе Jean Monnet.

Call for papers

National Erasmus+ Office is planning to publish a new publication “TEMPUS: 20 years of programme activities in Uzbekistan (2014)” covering all competed and on-going projects of 3 programme phases: Tempus II (1994-2000), Tempus III (2000-2006) and Tempus IV (2007-2013) in Uzbekistan.

The publication will present achievements cooperation with the EU universities, sustainability of Tempus project results and their impact on development of higher education system in Uzbekistan for the last 20 years.

We kindly ask you to submit the papers, containing analysis of project results from three perspectives:

  • Local project partners, - university professors/faculty members, administrative personnel,
  • EU partners, project grant-holders/coordinators and partners/professors/faculty members,
  • Target groups - students, trainees and trained teachers and industry partners, as well.

Photos and internet links should also be included in your papers in order to make them more informative. Note that all photos and figures included in your paper should have clear description notes beneath.

Please note that your papers will be reviewed and if content and quality of your paper (s) do not meet minimum requirements, your papers will be rejected to include in the compendium.

The language of your publications can be either English or Russian or Uzbek. Abstracts in Russian, Uzbek or English should be respectively provided for each paper.

Информационный день Erasmus+ в Ташкенте

По инициативе Исполнительного Агентства по образованию, аудио-визуальным средствам и культуре (EACEA), Национальным офисом Erasmus+ совместно с Министерством высшего и среднего специального образования и Делегацией Европейского Союза в Узбекистане 15-16 мая 2014 года в Ташкентском институте ирригации и мелиорации был проведен Информационный День Erasmus+ для Центральной Азии.

В ходе конференции была представлена информация о новой программе Erasmus+ и о возможностях сотрудничества для высших учебных заведений пяти стран Центральной Азии в рамках всех направлений деятельности программы. На опыте реализации программ Темпус и Эразмус Мундус были даны практические рекомендации по разработке проектных предложений и эффективному управлению проектами.

В конференции приняли участие более 140 человек из числа представителей системы высшего образования Узбекистана, пяти стран Центральной Азии, руководства Генерального Директората по образованию и культуре Европейской Комиссии, программы Темпус и представители офисов Erasmus+  из Австрии, Франции и Турции.

Очередной «Круглый стол» Темпус

В прошлую пятницу 4 апреля 2014 года в конференц-зале Министерства высшего и среднего специального образования состоялся «круглый стол» с участием более 70 представителей текущих проектов Темпус, в которых на данный момент задействованы команды  из 38 вузов в  11 областях республики и Каракалпакстане.
«Эффективное управление проектом» было выбрано в качестве актуальной темы для всех координаторов проектов, включая руководителей 11 новых проектов, начавшихся в декабре 2013 года.

С приветственными словами к участникам обратились Глава Делегации ЕС в Узбекистане Посол  г-н Юрий Штерк и замминистра высшего и среднего специального образования РУз г-н Ботир Усманов.

Meeting with PROMENG project team

The monitoring of 510920-TEMPUS-1-2010-1-DE-TEMPUS-JPCR project “PROMENG: professionally oriented master's programmes in engineering in Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan" was held on February 19-21, 2014. According to the schedule, initiated and coordinated by the Executive Agency, the monitoring took place in Karshi Engineering-Economic Institute, Tashkent State Technical University and the Fergana Polytechnic Institute.

Monitoring was conducted after the project completion; therefore, the main task was to fix the achievements of the project and provide their sustainability, as well as to determine the prospects of further development of the project results and ensure their dissemination to other universities that offer study programmes in engineering.

Karshi Engineering Economic Institute (KEEI) offers bachelor and master’s programmes with advanced courses on 4 subjects and 5 modules. All four planned publications were released; moreover, two additional publications were published at the expenses of the institute. The virtual office "Engineers in the Labour Market” has signed agreements with 121 enterprise for close cooperation on employment of graduates. KEEI has close cooperation links with the Karshi branch of TUIT, which offers modernised courses in 2 specialities developed within the project. Active interaction can be observed between Tempus project PROMENG and Erasmus Mundus project MANECA. 2 professors and 2 students passed advanced training courses in the field of engineering.

National Tempus seminar on "Human Resources Management in higher education system of Uzbekistan"

On January 22-23, 2014 National seminar is planned to be held in Tashkent in order to disseminate the results of the regional Tempus seminar on "Human Resources Management in Public Higher Education", held on October 8-9, 2012 at the Tashkent State Economic University. The seminar will be held in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan (MHSSE), the Head scientific and methodical center under MHSSE, the National Tempus Office in Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State Pedagogical University. The seminar is supported by CAEP - Central Asian education platform, funded by the European Commission.

December 17, 2013, the first Erasmus+ Call and the accompanying Programme Guide (basic PDF version) have been published and are available at http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/index_en.htm

This document contains all information needed about the activities launched under the new Erasmus+ programme.

The Programme Guide  does not yet concern the Credit Mobility strand (Erasmus type mobility) nor the Capacity Building Higher Education dimension (Ex-Tempus) because of the delays in the negotiations of the budget for the external dimension of the programme.

Scholarships of Erasmus Mundus Euro-Asian CEA

Euro-Asian CEA is an Erasmus Mundus Partnerships programme funded by the European Commission. SCHOLARSHIPS are offered to Central Asian nationals to study/ research/ train/ teach in one of the eight European partner universities. Scholarships include monthly subsistence allowance, participation costs as well as insurance and travel costs. The mobility start will be in autumn 2014.

Deadline for applications is 31 January 2014.

New Annual publication “Tempus IV in Uzbekistan-2013”

The National Tempus Office has published the next edition of “Tempus IV in Uzbekistan-2013” in order to support the information activities of Tempus projects and dissemination of the best practice of partnerships with EU universities (download here).
Diversity of activities and achievements of Tempus projects are presented by specific examples described by coordinators and participants from Uzbek universities and their partners from the EU and CIS countries.

NTO express their special gratitude to all authors who have contributed with papers that are included in this publication.
