Currently, (August 2014) there are 19 on-going projects of Tempus (download full list of projects), of which 11 are multi-country projects and 8 national project: 8 joint projects in curricular reform (8 CR JPs), 5 joint projects «higher education and society» (5 HES JPs), 1 joint project in governance reform (1 GR JP) and 5 structural measures (5 SMs).
43 higher education institutions (HEIs) of Uzbekistan are involved in Tempus projects. The programme covers, including 17 HEIs from the capital city and 26 HEIs from 11 regions (e.g. Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Andijan, Fergana, Jizzakh, Namangan, Termez and Nukus).
In implementation of 19 on-going projects, 70 universities from 17 EU member countries and 51 universities from the 7 partner countries (e.g. Russian Federation, Ukraine, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Tajikistan) are participating.
In 11 projects (e.g. QAPD, TERSID, GE-UZ, TuCAHEA, QUEECA, MACH, HIGHVEC, UNIWORK, SAMUz, UzDOC, UzHELTH), the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialised Education (MHSSE) is involved.

As a partner, there are 24 non-academic partners, including the MHSSE, JSC “General Motors Powertrain - Uzbekistan” and other organizations and manufacturing enterprises.
